And May’s WTF? Award Goes To…

The lucky recipient of the WTF? Award must be offering for sale in the UK an item of cat paraphernalia so pointless and/or hideous that the average response to said item would be one of utter disbelief.

“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”  When William Morris, stalwart of the 19th Century Arts and Crafts Movement, uttered these famous words I don’t think he could possibly have envisaged anything quite like the Crazy Cat Lady Action Figure.  Poor Will would by turning in his grave if he knew there were people willing to give house space to this particular piece of plastic shite.

The Crazy Cat Lady is marketed as an amusing gift for cat lovers, but I’d be livid if someone gave this to me!  Not only is it ugly and useless, the lady herself has been deliberately designed to appear genuinely ‘crazy’; and since when have mental health problems been something to poke fun at?!

Or have I just had a major sense of humour bypass?  What do you reckon?  Would you like to receive one of these as a present?

Available for £6.00 on Amazon.  At least it’s cheap.

  1. Not to mention the condition which has caused her hands to grow unusually large. As my mother used to say, I wouldn’t give it ‘ouse room.
