Today I am the bearer of glad tidings: one of my favourite producers of quality modern cat furniture, Binq Design, have been in touch to offer Cool For Cats UK readers a 15% discount on their magnificent bite&slurp feeding stations. To claim your discount, enter the code COOLUK15% at the Binq Design checkout (or if you’d like to order a custom made bite&slurp, just mention the code when you email your order requirements). This discount code is valid until 25th February 2013.

The delightfully-named bite&slurp is handmade from recycled wood, and available in 3 colours: natural, a chalky white, and black – all 3 colour options are sealed to protect against stains and enable easy cleaning with a damp cloth. The removable stainless steel bowls are available in 2 sizes: 11cm and 13cm in diameter.
As you can see from the photo, the bite&slurp raises your cat’s food to a comfortable eating height. Another great feature of the design is the wooden base: it looks fantastic, and also weighs in at a hefty 1.8kg – so should solve the problem of larger cats nudging their bowls around the kitchen floor to retrieve those last, vitally important morsels of dinner!

The standard bite&slurp is available for €45 (around £39.00 at current exchange rates) and contains two bowls. This set-up is ideal for one cat’s dry and wet food (or food and water), but can also be shared by two cats – providing they like each other enough to eat in such close proximity! (Measurements: 4o.2cm x 17.7cm x 8.8cm.)
However, if you’re lucky enough to have a multi-cat household who are all the best of friends, the bite&slurp can be custom made with additional bowls – just visit the Custom Made page on the Binq Design site, and follow the instructions.
Here’s someone enjoying a snack from their custom made bite&slurp XL.

Finally, I’d just like to add that as a proud owner of a bloq beach by Binq Design, I can personally attest to the high-quality finish of their products – they really are beautifully made. (And, no, I’m not on commission!)
