If you’re a fan of pulp fiction detective novels, The Girl With Nine Lives by E Earle could be your kind of book…. and I just happen to have a review copy to give away.
The Girl With Nine Lives chronicles the adventures of Ellena Blackwell, a fiesty young college lecturer, and her talking cat, Benedict. Ellena stumbles upon some dastardly goings-on at her workplace and decides to investigate, and Benedict decides that he’d better lend a hand (or should that be paw?!).
This is a self-published novel, so be prepared to overlook the odd mistake and also to suspend disbelief occasionally. Plus the plot takes a little while to pick up; but once the story gets going you’ll be racing through the pages to discover the fate of Ellena and Benedict. Will they both survive to see another day? Well, that would be telling – you’ll have to read the book to find out!
The Girl With Nine Lives is available through Amazon for £4.24 for a paperback and £1.98 for the Kindle edition.
However, the author has very kindly supplied me with a copy to giveaway to one lucky Cool for Cats UK reader. To enter this giveaway simply leave a comment below.
