How cute is this?! The Kittens Mould , available for £4.25 from Baked By Me, would make a fab gift for any cat loving cooks. Or how about knocking up some kitty chocs yourself to give away to fellow feline fans this Christmas? Or maybe some cat-shaped ice to liven up those Christmas drinks?
The silicone Kittens Mould is really simple to use – just pour in some melted chocolate, wait for it to set and then pop out. This would be a great activity to enjoy with children; and a great way to keep excited little people occupied in the run-up to Christmas!
The mould makes one cat measuring H100mm x W63mm x D10mm, and six kittens measuring H40mm x W26mm x D8mm.
Here are ten great gifts for the younger cat lovers in your lives. The products for children are unisex, but I just couldn’t find anything cat-related that will appeal to teenage boys – sorry!
For toddlers, the Cool Cat from Ambi Toys (£9.98)
These Scandinavian-inspired cats by Jane Foster make great soft toys (£15.36)
For babies there’s this super-cute Contented Cat organic cotton t-shirt by Nell Smith (£18.00)
The Slinky Malinki series of books by Lynley Dodds are beautifully illustrated and an absolute joy to read aloud. Available from Amazon for £4.19.
This Cat Rucksack from fair trade online shop Shared Earth (£14.99) would be a very cute way to transport books and lunch boxes to and from school.
I know buying clothes for teenagers is notoriously tricky, but, if you’re feeling brave, these tops might pass muster.
From Hero and Cape the Kitty Cat Crop Top and the I Love Cats T-Shirt – both available in sizes 8-16 for £25.
From Oh Deer there’s this geometric print sweatshirt by Kris Tate, available in sizes S-XL in a selection of colours for £35.00.

Or how about these Cat Earphones from Cubic (£11.95). Cubic are currently donating 15% of all sales to Cats Protection.
This cute cat on wheels from Ambi Toys certainly has toddler appeal! The contrasting colours will grab a little one’s attention, and there’s more fun to be had when the toy is pushed along as the cat’s head rotates and its tail wags.
The Cool Cat toy is suitable for children of 12months+, and is available in the UK from Little Wooden Wonders for £9.98.
Shared Earth are a company who sell handmade and eco-friendly fair trade gifts. They aim to improve the livelihoods of people in developing countries, support local communities and keep traditional skills alive – all very good reasons to shop there. And guess what? They just happen to stock a range of cat-inspired homewares and accessories. Hurrah! Here’s a selection:
Clockwise from top left: cat cushion, £4.99; cat design fabric purse £4.98; Spotty Cat letter rack, £7.98; children’s cat rucksack, £14.98.
Sewing kits make great gifts for crafty friends, and can also be a lovely way to introduce older children (roughly speaking from 8 years +) to the joys of crafting. Or you could just treat yourself!

I think it’s safe to assume that little people wearing clothes with cats on is a winning combination as far as extreme cuteness goes, highly likely to elicit involuntary ‘Awws!’ from anyone in the immediate vicinity.
UK Etsy seller Nell Smith produces a range of organic cotton baby/toddler clothes which are hand printed with her modern, colourful animal designs. Nell is an award-winning surface designer who is inspired by Scandinavian design and Japanese cartoons.
The Contented Cat t shirt above is available in sizes 3 – 6 months through to 4- 5 years and costs £18.00.
Nell also produces a Contented Cat bib (£9.50) and baby hat (£8.50).
And finally, I couldn’t resist showing you these: the Tiny Tiger and Friendly Little Lion t shirts (both priced at £18.00). Not the sort of ‘cats’ usually featured on this site, I know, but they’re so blinkin’ cute that they’ve been given special dispensation.
All the baby clothes featured here can be purchased from Nell Smith’s Etsy Shop.
